The Drive (Rock)

Emerging from the New York City underground in 2001, The DRIVE serve up hard and heavy music with gutsy riffs and the melody to make it all sink in. Their visceral songwriting, along with a high energy, electric stage presence, has helped The DRIVE build a strong and ever growing following. After working with producer Preston Nash of Primer 55, The DRIVE released a 6 song EP in 2002 that weaved its way into full rotation on college and indie radio stations across the country. A 3 song EP followed in 2003 along with several compilation appearances.

In 2002, The DRIVE was approached by Epiphone to receive an endorsement and appear in the guitar company's advertising, which is still the case into 2004. The band were also featured in a 2003 reality show, The Good, The Bad and the Ugly that aired on The Learning Channel in the US and the BBC in the UK chronicling the making of their full-production music video for Important.

In addition to their own regional tours, The DRIVE have been on the road with bands like Static-X and Lo-Pro having played everything from small clubs to 1500+ capacity venues around the country as well as having showcased at the annual CMJ Music Festival.

Dark, elegant, and menacing, this is a rock band the way you want it.

This is The DRIVE.
