LACUNA COIL will also be featured on the upcoming Masters of Horror II, the soundtrack to the top-rated series on Showtime that hits stores on October 24th. Their track, “Virtual Environment,” has never been released in the U.S. and appears alongside such renowned artists as Seether, Shinedown and Hatebreed. It will also be featured in an upcoming episode.

Due to overwhelming demand, LACUNA COIL will return to the U.S. this November as direct support to Danzig as part of the next incarnation of his highly successful Blackest of The Black tour. This is the group’s third U.S. run in support of Karmacode, their highly praised new album. It wraps up a highly successful year with numerous highlights such as a main stage Ozzfest slot, a sold-out tour with Rob Zombie, a performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live and a Top 30 Active Rock hit single with the track “Our Truth.”

This tour also coincides with the launch of the group’s new single for “Closer,” the third single from Karmacode. The radio mix and edit of “Closer” was done by Brian Malouf (Michael Jackson, Madonna, Pearl Jam), and the captivating video for the track, completed by the directorial team Fort Awesome (who also shot the group’s acclaimed “Our Truth” clip), can be viewed by clicking the link below.

LACUNA COIL Announce U.S. Tour; Launch New Single and Video

Due to overwhelming demand, LACUNA COIL will return to the U.S. this November as direct support to Danzig as part of the next incarnation of his highly successful Blackest of The Black tour. This is the group’s third U.S. run in support of Karmacode, their highly praised new album and will wrap up a highly successful year, which saw numerous highlights such as a main stage Ozzfest slot, a sold-out tour with Rob Zombie, a performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live and a Top 30 Active Rock hit single with the track “Our Truth.”

The band says, “ We initially planned to headline the U.S. this fall, but Danzig made us an offer we couldn’t refuse, so we postponed our headlining plans until January. We can’t wait to return to America with another true legend.”

This tour also coincides with the launch of the group’s new single for the track, “Closer,” the third single from Karmacode. The radio mix and edit of “Closer” was done by Brian Malouf (Michael Jackson, Madonna, Pearl Jam), and the captivating video for the track, completed by the directorial team Fort Awesome (who also shot the group’s acclaimed “Our Truth” clip) can be viewed by clicking the link below.

Furthermore, LACUNA COIL has been nominated for the “Best Italian Act” award at the MTV European Music Awards 2006. Fans are invited to vote at http://ema.mtv.it (choose the “Italian Act” category and click “vota”). Karmacode had a phenomenal first week at retail, securing the #28 spot on the Billboard Top 200 charts and debuting at #5 on the Hard Music chart just behind such acclaimed artists as Nickelback and Rob Zombie. The group initially left their mark on the hard rock scene in 2004 with their acclaimed album, Comalies, which opened several opportunities for them that were previously thought unattainable for an Italian band, such as two highly successful commercial radio campaigns alongside a breakthrough Ozzfest appearance, resulting in over 500,000 copies sold worldwide with a quarter-million in the U.S. alone.
